oh friday, thank you for showing up once again right on time. however, i have a little bone to pick with you.

why did you have to bring along auntie flo for the ride? ok, i know i was the one that went off the pill and have been waiting for this horrendous day to finally arrive. but on a weekend? c'mon, that's just not funny. you're lucky i have ibuprofen.

it is one gloomy ass friday though. the clouds have come in and the rain has started to dibble dibble dop on the ivy outside the window. it's so dark we actually have to have lights on at 1135 am. all i would really like to do is crawl back into bed with a good book and laze this type of day away. but alas, the monkey pods that are currently playing so well together will need to be loaded up into the car for a school run shortly. a nanny's job is never done.....at least not until 4 pm today!

did i mention i got our herbs and veggies planted last sunday? well, i did. so far nothing has died :) (aren't you proud of me, mom??) and it actually makes going out onto the balcony more pleasant. i went out last night with the pupperface when i got home from work, only to start freezing my tukkas off. but it sure did look purty out there.

this weekend will consist of sleeping in (number 1 priority) and putting away laundry (i know, it's thrilling). we will also be hitting up a bday party for a friend of mine and hopefully indulging in a little liquor during the celebration!
